Wpa validating identity

Are you receiving an endless "Validating Identity" connection status when trying to connect to a wireless network. In a few simple steps you can bypass Windows Validation, and the resulting "Limited or No Connectivity" issue on an encrypted connection.I am using the Windows Wireless Connection Manager. On a couple of occasions I've seen that particular AP (don't know what firmware) suddenly stop attempting to authnenticate clients (it never sends any RADIUS requests) and power-cycling the AP "fixes" the issue.I suspect a firmware upgrade probably fixes that behaviour. If you want to accept both computer credentials and user credentials you'll need to name both "Domain Comptuers" and "Domain Users" in your policy.First, click on the wireless icon in your taskbar and under Related Tasks, choose Change advanced settings. Now click on the Wireless Networks tab and select the network in the list at the bottom.

Also, since I was able to connect from my laptop with no problem, it led me to believe it was something wrong with my desktop.

After about 30 minutes of fiddling around with various settings, I was able to figure out what the problem was.
